Invest in Youth
Campaign
Annually, the YMCA raises
fund through our Invest in Youth Campaign to provide financial
assistance scholarships and program subsidies. Funds
raised through this campaign assure that no one is ever turned
away from YMCA membership and programs due to financial
need.
Invest In
Youth includes
Donors whose generosity makes it possible
for all to participate.
Recipients of scholarships that enable them
to be a part of the YMCA.
Volunteers who help raise the funds needed
to make it happen.
Planned
Gifts/Endowments
The YMCA encourages planned
gifts as a primary means of building strong endowment
resources. Your gift can help create a lasting legacy and
will touch lives through YMCA programs for generations to
come.
Honors/Memorials
Gifts to the YMCA in
honor or in memory of loved ones provide a living remembrance
for generations to come. Honorary gifts may be given to
celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, holidays, and
other special occasions. Memorial gifts may also be given
as a way to remember someone special.

Summer Camp.
Children experience
an opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and
experience the fun and adventure of the outdoors at YMCA summer
day camps and overnight camps.
Child Care
and Preschool Programs.
Y Child Care and
preschool programs provide stimulating activities in a
nurturing environment, giving our children a healthy
start.
After School
Programs.
After the school day
ends, and before parents return home, caring adults provide a
safe place for homework help and team building. YMCA After
school programs are located at over 46 area schools and Y
facilities in the Rochester area.
Youth &
Teen Programs.
The YMCA provides
teens with a safe place to socialize and participate in
structured programs such as Youth & Government and Teen
Leaders Club.
Membership.
YMCA membership keeps
children and families active and fit together in a positive
environment.

children and families received financial assistance
scholarships. Help the YMCA continue its important work
with the children and teens in our community. When a
volunteer contacts you this fall, please give
